Acceptable Use Policy
These rules keep Reunionbase safe and welcoming for every family. By using the Service, you agree to follow them.
Effective July 2, 2026
1. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you and your members post and for how you use the Service. You must have the right to share what you upload, including the consent of people shown in photos or named in your family tree.
2. Prohibited content
You may not post or share content that:
- Is unlawful, infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy, or violates any right of another person.
- Is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or promotes violence or discrimination.
- Is sexually explicit, or exploits or endangers a minor in any way.
- Contains malware, or is designed to disrupt or compromise the Service or other users.
- Is spam, or a scam, or otherwise deceptive.
3. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Access another family's data, or attempt to bypass the security or access controls of the Service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measure, without our written permission.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited messages, or to collect other people's information without their consent.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as allowed by law.
- Resell or provide the Service to others in a way not permitted by your plan.
- Use the Service in a way that overburdens or interferes with its normal operation.
4. Reporting abuse
If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, report it to hello@reunionbase.com. To report content that infringes your copyright, follow our Copyright and DMCA Policy.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate this policy or our Terms of Service. Where a violation is serious or unlawful, we may report it to the appropriate authorities. We aim to act fairly and, where practical, to give notice, but we may act immediately when needed to protect users or the Service.
